Overview

A smile makeover is not a single procedure. It is a coordinated plan that pulls together whichever cosmetic and restorative treatments are needed to get you to the smile you want. At Diamond Dentistry, Dr. Jill Rowland builds each plan around what you would like to change, what your bite and oral health allow, and how many visits make sense given your schedule.

What a Plan Can Include

Components are mixed and matched per case. Common pieces:

  • In-office and take-home professional whitening

  • Porcelain or composite veneers

  • Bonding and contouring to reshape edges, close small gaps, or smooth chips

  • Replacing dark metal fillings with tooth-colored composite

  • Crowns, bridges, or implant-supported restorations to rebuild damaged or missing teeth

  • Orthodontics to correct alignment before cosmetic work begins

Is It Right for You?

A makeover suits patients who have more than one cosmetic concern they would like resolved together rather than piecemeal. The starting point is healthy gums and teeth: anything active — decay, periodontal disease, untreated bite problems — gets addressed first so the cosmetic results have a stable foundation. Dr. Rowland walks through that triage at consultation.

How the Plan Comes Together

At your first visit Dr. Rowland reviews the health of your teeth and gums, captures records and photos, and listens to what you want changed. From there she sequences the work — some treatments need to happen before others can start — and gives you a visit-by-visit roadmap with realistic timelines. Sedation options are discussed up front for patients who would prefer them.

Aftercare

Once treatment is finished, day-to-day care is straightforward: brush and floss daily, keep your routine cleanings at Diamond Dentistry And Aesthetics, and protect the work from the things that wear it down (grinding, biting hard objects, heavy stain exposure). Dr. Rowland will flag any periodic touch-ups — whitening top-ups, veneer or restoration replacement — at your follow-up visits so the result holds up year over year.
